When Woody Pastorius, the CEO of Mywedding.com called me to tell me this amazing story of Erica & Ryan, I was immediately excited about their upcoming honeymoon in NYC. Erica had matron of honor, a New York Times Best Seller novelist, Karen Kingsbury. This all came from Erica’s passion for life and love, which she wrote about in her incredible blog on mywedding.com. Today Show has picked up this story and on Monday, July 12 at 10AM EST Erica, Ryan and Karen will be on to tell the world about it.
I was asked to photograph Erica and Ryan on their trip here in NY. It was a lot of fun to spend the day with newly weds in my favorite city in the world, New York City.
Ann & Ryan is a great couple. Early this year we met in one of my favorite restaurants in NYC called The Park. What a coincidence that they knew and liked that place as well. About two weeks ago we did an e-session in Jersey City and despite major traffic delays all worked out perfectly. Couple of drinks at the bar of Liberty House Restaurant helped clear all that traffic stress..haha

Last week was an interesting e-session with a great couple. We had to drive 2 hours to the University of Delaware because this is where Lauren and Chris met and started dating. The halls were mainly empty and we were just having fun.

This wonderful fun couple got married last week in a beautiful Greek church. When we first arrived at Eleni’s house and saw their yard, Tim and I looked at each other and thought it was a photographer candy land. Beautiful bride, long veil, light wind, fields of green, tall trees, old barn, rolling hills on the horizon….can I ask for more? Well yeah…more time to photograph it all!
Eleni is an amazing person. A rare human being who on HER wedding day was stressed about all her guests comfort before herself.
This ad is going in the next issue of The Knot magazine.

We had a blast with Alex and Lacey at the westmount country club. That place is absolutely amazing! Lacey looked stunning in her dress. She picked very elegant Jimmy Choo shoes.

I am always deeply honored when some of my photography is featured or published. This time a wedding I shot in Riviera Maya, Mexico in Riu Palace last year was featured on 201bride.net website. Thank you Michele & Tommy.

Lots was happening and there was no time to update the blog. One of several very exciting things happened is I was featured in mywedding.com real weddings. Thank you Lacey and Alex!

We’ve been trying to schedule an engagement shoot for a long time. Month after month went by and every time something made us reschedule for another day. Well, Lacey & Alex are getting married at the end of this month and this was our last chance to get together for a shoot before the big day. Unfortunately, on Feb 6 is snowed..quite a lot by where I am. Most people would spend a day like this by the fireplace, but the guys were great and didn’t give in to the weather. Outside temp was in mid 20s so we had to find a place inside. And what better place than my absolutely most favorite book store The Raconteur. If you are anywhere near Metuchen you have got tovisit this store.
I went back to one of my past favorite weddings and re-designed the album for a studio sample. I am very excited about this new clean album design. When printed it will be a gorgeous 11×14 with a full spread of 11×28. Check it out and comments are welcome.
